ShrodingersCat SG can buy 2nd hand furniture? I visited some garage sales and they have really nice stuff too selling at good prices. Especially sales at the expat districts.
Rhonda SG Bourdain is really entertaining! Bobby Chin's really kewl too! I tried a recipe featured on Bobby Chin's show where a Hong Kong chef demonstrated his version of Sweet and Sour any-meat-you-fancy, and it turned out great! As for Nigella, fireman and I both thought she can't really cook and is faking it.
Rhonda SG Morning, sbst! Looks like it's only you and me in here right now! Some weather channel reported that Singapore will be about 34 deg C today. And yesterday it said that Singapore will have showers. . . and reading av's post on this page, it seems that it really did! All said, I'd better keep an eye on the sky - first sign of rain clouds and I'd better rush home to get the washing down from the line!
Rhonda SG Hello! Hello!! OK, I shall go and work on the photos I took yesterday at the Tulip Festival and then hopefully share it here. See ya in a while!
Rhonda SG Yo, MG! Read about that young cop who went berserk and killed a few people including his ex-girlfriend yesterday.
Rhonda SG Think so, but I don't care. I'm NOT getting on board one of them budget airlines because taking flights on regular carriers can be stressful enough without having to add on to the stress you will face on budget carriers. Besides, these budget carriers are assigned to some airport that's not the main airport and getting there without a car will be a royal pain.
sbst275 SG Tiger Airways is using the same airport as what SIA uses Only thing is at a different terminal
Meia Gisborn SG Hi, Rhonda! Yup, that tidbit of news is making the rounds over here. Very unfortunate indeed, and it does nothing to allay the distrust that exists between civilians and law enforcement in this country. Are you posting from home or the library?
fudgester SG *me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke* Now the techs tell me that the company that manufactures the heavy-duty chromium/vanadium alloy springs that I need doesn't have the springs with the specifications I want in stock! I'm forced to order other types instead.. which would necessitate quite a bit of redesigning and corrections to be made. Arrrgh!!!
Rhonda SG Ah, unfortunately, no PC yet! Enough said. . . I'm working on some photos and will put them up soon! Hope you'll still be online then! How are things for you on the home front?
Meia Gisborn SG But you'll miss all that exciting and stimulating conversation that goes on aboard a plane operated by a budget carrier. "WHAT WAS THAT LOUD BANG??" "THAT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT..." "OH MY GOD!! THERE ARE SPARKS SHOOTING OUT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE!!!"
Rhonda SG That's precisely what I need! Alright, before I grab those anti-anxiety pills, back to working on those photos. . .
